Silverados Legacy
The Silverados Dance Team was created in the Fall of 2022 and its original members included 13 dancers, 1 manager and 1 director. The students who started this team ranged from incoming juniors to incoming freshman navigating the challenges of coming from different schools to create one new team. The first year was full of growth, new traditions and school spirit as the Silverados were tasked to lead their peers at football games, pep rallies and community events. We celebrate the original members and all that they have done to help create the Silverados Legacy!

The first week of school included several exciting events. We welcomed new teachers and students on the first Wednesday of school. The local news had a morning special on our new student organizations and school. Finally, we ended the week with our first pep rally hyping up the student body in preparation for the year ahead.
The transition of Dance Officers from Year 1 to Year 2 grew with four Lieutenants and one Captain! The Dance Officers are responsible for leading their peers during practices and performances as well as being a role model for their teammates inside and outside of practice. We are grateful to these 5 Dance Officers and the dedication that they gave the Silverados during their time on the team!
The Miss Silverado Award is given to a member of our team who represents our organization at the highest level. Our 2024 recipient was our first Silverados Captain, Ngilan Joof who was nominated for this award by her teammates at our annual Spring Show!
